Hi Gents
Been lurking here awhile.
Thought I'd show you my truck just so you'd know what moron is chiming in when I comment.
Bought it as a running heap. The body was pretty rough though only surface rust. So the bones were good.
Engine was on its last leg. Rebuilt it.
I neglected to take many pics of the "before".
The idea of it was to be my wifes little "run to the nursery" to get flowers truck (she actually picked it out).
So making it easier to drive was important.
I ended up installing bolt on kits for power steering and brakes. No serious surgery.
It ended up as a nice little truck that does its job very well and runs like a top.
Now if I could only find a good short box.

Thank you very kindly gentlemen.
I am in awe of the technical/fabricating genius in this forum.
I usually hang at a different site but I am very inspired by the notching, bagging, slamming, fire breathing builds here.
I am in the middle of a mustang that is very much like a few of the trucks here and would love nothing better than to get into a lowered short box.
But that's a few projects down the road.
