wiring blinkers

Post by blueovalmadness »

Does anyone know what wires on a 78 column I need to plug into the connectors under the dash of a 65 for the blinker switch?

The 78 and 65 should have the same color for the wires. You will not use the wires for the column mounted hazard switch.

This is for the '73-'77 switch, with integrated hazards and manual transmission.

Do these colors work?

And this is how I believe it will be wired into a '61 harness. Most of the colors are the same in this case.

The best thing you can do is to get a 78 wire diagram and a '65 diagram to translate the diagrams from one to the other.
