The Texas/ Louisiana/ Oklahoma crew already knows about it but if any of you other folks ever get a chance, this thing is a bucket list item.
Seriously.
If you can't find it at Pate, you really don't need it.
PFM and a few others have spaces reserved and we'd love to see anyone who can make it there.
Check some of the pictures and you'll see what I'm talking about.
The Houston group will be arriving Thursday morning as usual and we're staying at the Best Western in Roanoke. Make your reservations early. I waited to long last year and hosed up my trip.

It is getting close again. This year I will only be there on Thursday due to my Scouting activities. At least I get one day . Sadly this year BBQ and BS (at my house) session won't happen on Friday night but we have next year. Friday and Saturday I'm sure I will miss the deals but hopefully the CrewCab will be there..

I'll probably be driving up Thursday, so we likely won't make it into Fort Worth until the afternoon. If we get there early enough we'll set up camp at the swap meet and try to catch everyone at babes Thursday night.

Same situation here, still recovering from the multiple Midwest trips last year! I even skipped HAN and CTC . it's going to be tough ignoring all the bargains, (+ Conroe happens first), but I ain't making much progress on what I've got, and really can't justify additional parts, well, maybe a few! I don't intend to purchase one and load down two trucks this year, tho!
I made the mistake of staying in Decatur for the fall swap meet; now #1 son will probably insist on a Sweetie Pies replay! Me, I could care less about one of the best ribeyes in the state of Taxes

Not sure why I'm complaining. I really don't need any more parts. I have enough parts on shelves in the shop to keep me busy for quite a while. I mainly attend Pate for the fellowship and the circus-type atmosphere. I enjoy seeing old friends again, meeting new friends, hearing the lies ('er stories) about happenings since we last met, waiting to see what unusual item(s) Lyman (jeepbut) will drag into the Slick Stock South "pop-up" city, the car corral offerings and checking out the thousands of unique items that are available. And, oh yeah, the food. and again the fellowship over meals.

Know what you're saying. The shelves (40' long) across the back of my shop are now filled with engine parts, wheels, seats, etc, etc. (this shot was taken very early on) plus shelves up front and along the sides, and now the floor is filled with suspension parts and several engines on stands as well as an adjacent 12X24 storage room with tires, body parts, etc.
