heat system for 64 custom cab

I have the original heater core for my 64 F100 and it is the last thing I need to install to complete my truck ( with exception to the bed). My question is has anyone out here installed a heater core and blower system that was aftermarket in one of these trucks? I am finding parts very hard to come by for the original ( such as the heater switch and cable). Any input would be greatly appreciated.

use the 67 heater switch/cable (#8)
