North Texas swap meets

Post by Toyz »

We've posted elsewhere about the Pate and Conroe swap meets, however, little has been mentioned about Decatur, Texas. It is one of the better Texas swap meets, February 22/24 this year.
Please do not confuse this meet with the highly disappointing Fall meet. The only common between these two is the location. The Spring meet has had the same sponsorship for as long as I remember, and is well worth the trip.

Chris, my plan is to go up early Friday if all works well. We're staying at the Hampton, and heading back late Saturday if all goes as planned. Another Houston member posted that he intended to attend; don't know about the normal cavalry, with Conroe and Pate in short order. My son is headed out to purchase an enclosed trailer today, so that may have some bearing on our plans also, since a run to CTC, Sunset, the 199 tour, and Jacksboro could possibly be included!
