See no reason why not (as Ice said) What does the warranty plate say? I can't put my hands on the different ID info between the 65 and 66's as I'm capturing video on my big computer at the time. There's a Letter in the body code that let's you know it's a Ranger. (assuming of course that the warranty plate Vin matches the frame :-)

Yes there were indeed 3/4 ton Rangers... The parts truck from which I acquired my Ranger interior was a white '66 F-250. No console tho; everything but. Console was an option over and above the bucket seat package; not all Rangers came with it.

Can't get to the truck right now. Having a hard time getting info on it. Has buckets and consul. It's hard to tell much as the buckets have some covers on, but I can see enough of the consul to be able id it as the right one.

There was indeed F250 Bucket seat trucks, I had a '66 for about three years. It wasn't a Ranger rather a Camper Special with the bucket seat package. When I was really into the Ranger package I was only able to confirm the seats came in two colors, Red & Black. Like some one above said the body code tells you the type of cab and seat. I always suspected there was beige buckets too but I never could prove it. My tag reads (115 w.b.) (color A) (F100 Model) (G81 BODY) (63 d.s.o) I don't remember if the G or the 1 signified buckets and color.

The "G" in front of 81 is the indicator. 65 and 66 each had different letters.

Edit/Update: Found this in my PMs from Michelle when I was buying my Ranger:

Codes for 1965 are:
F=Red crinkle all vinyl
G=Black crinkle all vinyl
H=Palomino crinkle all vinyl

Codes of 1966 are:
T=Black crinkle vinyl and black rosette pattern vinyl
U=Parchment crinkle vinyl and rosette pattern vinyl
V=Red crinkle vinyl and rosette pattern vinyl.

Bummer Rich. Was hoping you'd get it. $450? Must have been pretty rough?

I have a 66 f250 beige and white ranger, has beige seats and the console. Its one of my best trucks laying around, has no drive line but no rust, had a camper shell most its life, has about 90% of the original paint on the bed floor!

Does that particular glider have a tool box in the bed side? Does it have padded sunvisors?

The truck was rough as all get out, and almost overlooked the fact untill I notived the buckets. Might not have noticed then as the bucket had some sort of crappy covers, but then I saw the consul peaking ou from under some junk.

Two of the most common attributes if not standard features of a Camper Special features are the dual padded visors & the tool box. It's a shame there don't appear to be any production fiqures

I don't believe the Camper Special (CS)package included the side tool boxes. They were optional @ xtra cost.

As I recall, the CS package did include:

-- the 300 I-6 or 352 V-8
-- Extended Tailpipe

-- the Xtra Cooling Radiator
-- Amp/Oil Gauges (with round (std) cluster, or if also equipped with Custom Cab package, with CC cluster)

-- H/D 55 amp Alternator
-- 70 amp Battery

-- C-O-M (automatic) or 4-Speed Manual
-- Dual Western Mirrors

-- left arm rest
-- Dual sun visors (I'm not sure about being padded or not)

-- Color-keyed upholstery and rubber floor mats
-- Cigarette lighter

-- RH air vent
-- wiring harness pigtail for trailering (loose in glovebox, and is the only unique CS-only item)
