anyone using "flame throwers" ?

Post by mosquito13 »

I have two dual exhaust flame thrower set ups and a couple of electric fuel pumps and soliniods from a nos system - a old drag bike that i killed. thinking is dangerous and i drive a lot... thoughts on a flame thrower hooked up , to work WITH-OUT cutting out the ignition. guessing a fuel mister in the exhaust pipe would get clogged to ez to make this practical but then the rewards of being in the burnout pit at a car shows and shootin' flames lightin' up the the blue smoke... should mention this is not going on my slic 'yet', but if it works well on my 64 dodge... and yes i have a 2lb and a 10lb extinguisher in my vehicles. probably wrong site to be posting this, any other hooligans here? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2VHQ8E9q5x8

Well, we had 'em when I was a kid, but they're kind of iffy if you don't do them right.
One night we were coasting down "Thrill Hill" and I kind of ruined a set of cherry bombs.
Reminds me of a line from the movie "Stripes"
County Policeman on the way back to town; "What happened to your mufflers son?"
Me; "Blowed up sir."
I'm not arguing with you. I'm just explaining why I'm right.
Pardon me. Does your deaug bite?

my first set, i made using a set of wooden model t coils for fire. no need for fancy electrics with those with no timed spark on the t's. need to check ebay for a set of those for the rat rod... thanks for jogging memory lane.

One of my favorite local meet moments involved a crotch rocket making obnoxious noises while tailing a neighbor's early Mercury "lead sled" through the parking lot. Most regulars knew what was about to happen; don't know if the rider did!
Next came the slight revving of the phantom-like Merc; then "Ninja Toast"

I'm looking at using this on my 65. Probably a month away from cranking the engine
