in search of wheels and tire thoughts and recomendations

Post by 66SouthernClassic »

66 2wd lowered. I am about to start assembly of the front suspension with power disk brakes and drop beams with the possibility of cutting some off the coil springs to go even lower.

I currently have factory steel wheels with some decently wide and fairly tall tires.
The tires are dry rotted and so I need new tires anyway so I figured good time to maybe change wheels and go lower profile.

In the future I want american racing torque thrust d, but the money isn't there for those. If nothing else I am just going to use factory wheels and go wider and lower tire.

I am highly considering factory dodge 20 inch steelie spares from like an 04 1500.

Thoughts, opinions, good suggestions and links appreciated.
