Greetings from central Washington state
Thank you for the add.
I was on the Facebook page and then discovered the wealth of your full web site. Bravo! I am the proud owner of two slicks. A 61 sb bbw and a 63 sb bbw. Hopefully if my deal goes through I will have the tri fecta and fetch the 62 sb bbw I am missing from the three. I say this under a full moon hoping all in the hemisphere is aligned correctly.
I am a third generation car guy. My grandpa was a body and paint guy forever. My dad and uncles were the backbone of the shop and you only got to paint it when grandma said so. We have a big car group at our house but this page is about slicks so I'll keep it to that.
My 61 is a uncle build for his ex wife. I only bought it from him when he lost his job and had to sell it. It has a fully uphoulstery bed with cover and I did the pro street mod to it. It had a 292 with a three speed overdrive transmission. Don't know if it was a stock combo or not but it's gone and a 429 with a c6 will take its place. It's been in the family about 25 yrs now.
Our 63 has only been with us for about 22 yrs. it was a previous owners build with a 289 c4 combo and a 63 galaxie front end! It's well on its way to a build conclusion and has appointment for uphoulstery in late feb. It now sports a 351 Windsor with a c4 and a 8.8 posi rear.

See if my pic works it's been awhile since I've been to a forum.
We live in Ephrata Wa. The dry side of the state and love it here. There are quite a few slicks in the area if you look. Some drive some just look good sittin there. Thanks for letting me join. I look forward to makin new friends.
