Even though I hate the modern media, they have one thing right. Everybody remembers exactly where they were when they found out Kennedy had been shot.
I was a student at North Texas State and a friend named Lynn Fulligar and I were going south from Denton on I-35 in Dallas at the Wycliff exit that Friday when the Presidential motorcade was headed north to Parkland Hospital and wondered what the hell was going on. We were going to the "Bottoms" under the intersection of I-35 and I-30 to buy beer for the weekend and found out about 5 minutes later that Kennedy had been shot. We got our Pearl Bock beer but had to take the back roads back to campus because the main roads were shut down tighter than a fish's ass, and that's water tight.
How about ya'll.
I'm not arguing with you. I'm just explaining why I'm right.
Pardon me. Does your deaug bite?

I was in high school in Knob Noster, MO. when they announced it over the PA system. They shut down the school about an hour later and sent us all home. Watched a movie last night about Kennedy. Seemed a little bit of a stretch about the facts of his life. Lots of conjecture I thought.

I was 23 years old and working at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. I found out about it when I returned from my lunch break (didn't have phones and all these electronic gadgets in those days). Spent the next several days glued to the television set.

I was sitting in a Bar in Reno having a few cool one's when the news hit. High-tailed it to the Base (I was in the Marine Corps at that time) cause didn't know what might happen with such a catastrophic happening.

I was 5., right between Caroline and her brother. I remember watching John John salute the carriage as it rolled by on our black and white TV.
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..
