The bodywork on the fenders is finished, cause someone sideswiped something and put a huge crease in it. So my dad and I tested fitted the fenders, and while doing so I noticed a bolt hole located behind the fender, and on top of the fresh air duct, just below the cowl. Never noticed it before, but I was wondering what this bolt hole is for? Thanks.

Re: bolt hole in upper fresh air duct
That is for the bracket that the inner and outer fender bolts to. There is one on each side. It has 2 holes in it that line up with the 2 holes in the inner and outer fender closest to the firewall. The hole in the bracket that goes up against the firewall is slotted for up and down adjustment
Re: bolt hole in upper fresh air duct
said bracket is only used on the 61-64 trucks.

thanks, I never noticed the hole before, and I never saw anything bolt there when I looked at other trucks.
