better lucky than good has worked for once. Didn't realize how much there is to know about tri powers. supposed to know this before purchase. I have correct float bowls, metering blocks, carb bodies. Center bowl float level hole is higher than other two. End carb main bodies airhorn are not drilled for choke shaft. End carbs metering blocks have no provision for power valves. Been searching for info for hours. Funny thing is you couldn't make me study in school and yet I spend hours researching car stuff. It also appears that there is no ported vacuum. All the holes and passages are there but one. The base plate is not drilled. Looks like those plugs and fittings aren't doing much.

I know absolutely nothing about Ford tri power but it seems to me that the carbs are on backwards.

It's an FE setup.
I fund a similar FE setup with 2x4. Lowriser '63 intake.
Tony Branda is a good source for replacement parts. They have the fuel logs, linkage, etc.
Here is a good source for intake numbers for original Ford intakes (an pulleys, blocks, heads, and about everytihing else Ford).

Get on the Holley site and you can find most original jet/power valve settings for about any carb. If yours aren't listed, send them an email and they will respond.
Your carbs are on right. You do need the correct float adjusting setups, those aftermarket ones aren't as good and actually can strip float bowl threads.

First, what are the list numbers on the carbs?
Center carb is the only one with a power valve. I can save you a lot of time, money and aggravation on jet sizes too.

Its all good. 2436/2437. 61 center/66 outers. numbers on metering blocks are correct also. studying the base to see if I can drill it for ported vacuum.

First, I changed my squirters from the 50cc units to the standard 30cc's and I'm currently running a 58 jet on the center carb and 62's on the ends. I'm not running a heavy carb, but I do have 10:1 flat tops. It seems to like this setup on the street. Mike Bratland suggested 62/67-68 but that seemed to be a little rich on the street. With the 58/62 combo I got a nice light brown patina on the plugs.
