The crown Vic set-up out here is $650 for everything between the wheels... a good price considering the little work it requires compared to other set-ups...

Before jumping into front suspension ask around and see how many miles being put on since some of these I have seen are trailer queens. I am not a Chevy fan but I ahve used the Camaro with the bigger sway bar, take off the smaller rotors off , put the big 12" GM Rotors on then it will be the same as the the Mark V rear end and this will give you plenty of stopping powers , also this set up is having the box out front so it makes it easier to to align your steering shaft unlike some that might need 2-3 joints to get it right

Thanx 61-66 JYD,
So you've put a camaro clip in a slick then?Thrack width was good and you got it down low enough to suit your fancy?
The 12" rotors are from the Impala/Caprices,we did this on our Torino clip in our IMCA mdified too.
And the front steer clips drive way better then a rear steer clip.Way better geometry too.

we did on a 64, cab was off we measured straight down the sides and the x the measurements as well across then set you hidth however you want before you do the first spot weld then double check once spot welded, check off your cabmounts the measurement from the floor to see how the hidth is then can go from there to see how to lower it last one we did took it to the frame shop several years ago did not need any alignment but we had jigs to keep everything in alignment

We just did one on a 59 Apache,we Z'd it quite a bit to get the truck down low.Worked out great.I did move it forward about an inch to get the wheel in the proper place in the fenderwell too.
I figured the track width would be bang on for a Slick too.

Got pics?
