What is an easy way to remove the break lines that are behind the steering mechanism in the frame?

if you are replacing the lines with all new stuff, just cut them off.. if you are trying to remove a long complicated section without bending it.. to reuse...you might not be able to without removing the steering gear and other things in the way...

YES STEERING GEAR WILL HAVE TO BE REMOVED, I JUST DID THIS LAST NIGHT, THERE IS A BOLT THAT GOES THROUGH THE FRAME WHICH YOU CAN SEE FROM THE OUTSIDE OF FRAME.. THAT WILL TAKE THE DISTRIBUTION BLOCK LOOSE.. OR YOU CAN JUST TRY TO UNSCREW THE LINES,, (GOOD LUCK) LOL

HE SAID EASY...... A HACK SAW IS EASY
Why fart and waste it when you can burp and taste it!

You don't have to fully remove the steering box, just loosen it enough to pry it away from the frame. Be ready...there will be 40+ years of gunk waiting to fall in your face when you do it.
