night at the drag strip

planning on heading out to the Houston raceway park in baytown Aug 31 friday evening. its open night you can run anything you want as many times as you can for 20 bucks. maybe a few slicks can make it out

Them Aussies are not stupid. They already know about Texas. Australia and Texas seem to have a common bond, but I think Allan has gone a little wobbley on us.

Looks like I'll be running my stick and tire again. No way to get the rest of the truck to the strip.

Maybe I'll run the left rear tire this time. Right rear needed balancing last time and threw my time off. :shock:

well, it was a wet night, got 4 runs in before the bottom fell out, had to load the truck on the trailer in the pouring rain,, anyway, truck ran 17.0 @78 mph ,, pretty much same results, tires were spinning halfway down the track, my son rode on the last run, he video'd if from inside, when i get a place to upload the video ill post it if anyone wants to see it.. now the tear down begins....
