Tightening the wiper switch/bezel
My wiper switch/bezel turns when i turn on the wipers so its not catching to turn the wipers on. How do you tighten the bezel to the dash? I tried holding the back of it and turning the bezel part but only barely tightens and frees up quickly.

Re: Tightening the wiper switch/bezel
The bezel should not turn. While pulling, and holding the stem tight to the dash, tighten the round nut with two notches inside the bezel. I had one where the p.o. put the nut on backwards so the notches where facing the dash. Lots of cussing that day

What did you use to tighten it? A small screw driver pushing the part where the notches are?

I did the same as brian with the socket. Needle nose plyers will work in a pinch as well

Re: Tightening the wiper switch/bezel
Use the close up feature and look close at the right hand side of the tool they show.
Just grind off both sides of the socket face, leaving a little nub on both sides of center, so that it fits the slots in the nut.
