Nice Find Turtle. I didn't know this was available. I was looking at making something similar to this from aluminum plate and mounting the new speedo behind the original glass, but this would be much easier (though not cheap).
Slick Fan: An example photo would be nice. This item replaces the tin mount which houses the original speedo and gauges in the 64 (and I guess all 61-63's) and fits behind the dash plate. (Orig speedo measures about 4" and the aftermarket gauges (speedo and/or tach) measure 5".
At first glance I thought it was a electric meter box.
