Feeling kind of stupid this morning.

What do you guys think my username means?

I was just informed this morning that its actually slang for a hardcore druggy

I actually mean it as a pig. as in "ripsnortin' firebreathin' pig"

Not sure how many of you have thought that but I feel pretty silly now

I thought that was a good name myself didn't realize it meant that.
Figured it was in a ripsnorting tire burning wheelie popping roost shooting kind of way.

"ripsnortin'" has been around a lot longer than the present druggies, they just hijacked it.

Well always, the first step is to admit you have a problem. I think here we're all hardcore slick druggies.

Hey Rip, It means what you want it to mean. The druggies will burn out and our very own Ripsnorter the "slickster" will still be around. I'm all for it.............besides, what do they know any way.

OOOHHHHhh
I figured it was some obscure reference to now totally obscure to me Nascar racing, which I won't watch with freakin' Toyotas running in it.

Thanks for that explanation 'cause I wouldn't have got that in a million years..
Oh and BTW never heard of that drug reference either, but the dial turned over 49 today , so I am getting long in the tooth for that stuff

JC: Wait a minute. 49 isnt even mid life yet. Another 5-10 years and you can have a mid life crisis and everything. $9 is just getting the kinks worked out.

Alan, I am well aware, having worked with, and met quite a few Aussies (and kiwis) that the slang down under is a bit hard to follow for North Americans, but in this case, the meaning is almost the same up here, so far as I know.

there are circumstances, however where some Aussie sayings just don't translate well.
