Teaser pics II
Getting the Turk back on Saturday in base form, after 72 hours in the paint booth. Now I can install everything without scratching denting or otherwise driving me crazy, while I soundproof, install interior, ect.

Looking good. I like how you did the doors since they are not drilled for the Custom Cab inserts

Lookin' good. Now comes the fun part, putting it together without scratching or chipping anything. Let the stress, oops, I mean fun begin. Have fun. It's gonna look awesome when it's done.

Thanks for the comments!
I have been patiently waiting its arrival....seems I might not get it back today .
Tomorrow and Monday may rain so I am still behind the eight ball waiting for the start.

Re: Teaser pics II
Actually no, the bed is getting a single stage urethane, the rest of the truck was sprayed with water based color and then clear coated the cab floor, steps and inner roof was first sprayed with por 15.
This will be my daily driver when its done and save me about 1/2, to 2/3rds the price of a new truck, considering what new full size trucks are going for, (not counting my time in those figures)

Looks great. Some Frog tape might be a big help protecting your paint when you start putting parts back on.
Re: Teaser pics II
how come you chose to use single stage in the box?

Re: Teaser pics II
Nic, the paint choices were left to the body shop. My guess would be its ability to take more abuse since this will be my daily driver. Although the wheel wells have had some work and an effort was made to get rid of the loading swail just inside the tailgate the rest of the bed has just been blasted primed and painted.
I was able to get it home yesterday in an effort to get it wired and running, then its back to the shop for sheet metal and glass.
Thanks for the interest
John
