The idea:
Build a 64 Ford F100 by Goodguys Heartland Nationals in Des Moines Iowa on July 4th weekend. This will not be an all-out build that costs thousands to complete. This will be more of an average Joe type build. And the parts or things we do for the most part will be decided by our followers via a multiple choice vote that will be emailed to those on our mailing list. Now let us talk about the mailing list, This will only be used to tell those subscribed about large build updates, new projects, polls( for voting) or coupons for a percentage off our merchandise ( shirts, posters, etc.)
SO what do you get for subscribing? Access to directing which way this build goes, a 20% off code to purchase some of our shirts on Tee spring (if you want), a digital copy of the final rendering, access to our videos, and entry into a drawing for a printed signed and numbered copy of the final rendering when the build is done (about the size of a movie poster).
The concept or theme:
We want this to be themed as a Bonneville support truck, this could be with a very vintage old school vibe, Flipped axles, drum brakes, etc. or maybe new school with independent front and rear suspension, coil overs, bags etc. Only the YOU can decide that.
Things that won’t be decided on is the drivetrain it will retain the 292 and the 4 speed as well as the rear end. We will be deciding on wheels, suspension, interior, paint scheme, and other items that shape the build.
So share this to various car pages, forums, or email it to your friends. We have about 4 month to pull this off and want to have fun with it. So join and let’s have fun.
Below is an example of one of the renderings( in progress) we are looking to release in a poll, pictures of what the truck currently looks like, an idea of what the first poll will look like and some shirt examples.
