1966 Ford F100 Front end Weight
I have a 1966 Ford F100 SWB with a 390Fe in it. I am wanderng if any one new what the front might weight? OR what the truck weights and the transfer is? As far as what percent on the front and rear?

trucks are a 60/40 split front ot back
For example my 91 is 1480 rear on a 5600 total

AND, a stock (that would be with the cast iron manifold) FE 352/390 et al weighs in at around 800 pounds.
Changing to an aluminum intake removes about 60 pounds off the motor.
As stated, the weight bias is about 60/40 - so if the truck weighs 4000 pounds, you have about 2400 pounds on the front axle.

Well .. I have a all cast iron engine except the intake which is aluminum. and have moved the battery to the back. So lets just say I lost a total of 130 pounds off the front. The truck is set up for more drag than drivability. So if I find a scale I would have to haul it to it. So I am kinda looking for a close number. No perfection is needed just looking for a close estimate. But thanks for all the information.
