Darrell where I bought my 63 in Kansas at Lindsey's behind their shop they had the whole set up with disc brake set up with dropped I-Beams all set up sitting on a platform. Looked like they just took it off a truck, :dontknow: if they still have it since be a few months

Darrell: If Tom's lead doesn't pan out, you might want to contact Sid Drapal @ droppedaxles.com, he has been SLOWLY working on fixtures to drop the twin I beams. After seeing this post several days back, I sent him my yearly inquiry as to the progress on the fixtures....and this morning, I received a response that may hold some promise.

His response is pasted in below......

Not quite yet James. We are still working on the pattern. Check back in about a month........Sid

A bit vague, but if he's suggesting to check back in a month, does that mean the fixtures will be finished then?? I have asked that question, so will update once I get a reply.

UPDATE:A far as the check back in a month it probably will be longer than that still work in progress...sorry.
Thanks,
Tresea

Darrell, got a friend down here with a pair, just the beams. Can’t remember his asking price, but it was CHEAP!
