Clutch Equalizer Bar. *No longer needed

Post by 64shortbed »

Looking to purchase a clutch equalizer bar from someone willing to part with one. I'm not certain to how specific these are to each application, but I have a '64 f100 with a 262 I6. Mine has suffered a catastrophic failure.

You're probably missing the bronze bushings, too.

I had that exact same thing happen. The bushings were missing so the steel wore through and split just like that.

The bronze bushings were still in there, the metal just tore for some reason. A friend repaired it this evening. We were looking for a piece of steel tubing to slip over the end to reinforce it, but couldn't find the right size. We'll see how it holds up...
