Mines a 61 with similar issues try "naty light" it's non presription & available at most drugstores, grocery stores, gas stations etc but ya gotta be 21 to buy it. Works for me been useing it for decades. Good luck.(Warning: Don't operate heavey equipment, or anything else, when useing this drug. May cause drowseness, nausea, a delusional opinion in regards to ones own level of attractivness and/or dancing ability. My make you fat. My occasional pi$$ the wife off).

Yes Ive tried several lubricants to ease up the problem
If I use enough of them
The old machine runs pretty good
Problem is ....
The next day it's extremely hard to start

I've got a 1950 model and the way things have gone the last few months I'm seriously thinking about jacking up the entire chassis from my boots and slide a new chassis into those boots. I'm not looking for a new chassis just something with a few less miles on it and something not ran quite as hard as this one.

Dang... 1980 model here... as they say, they just weren’t made like they used to be. The tin man without oil in the joints.

There is a whole lot of groaning before things get warmed up and lubricated for the days work.
The months may change, but I am always APRIL

i remember years ago...
Was having a bad day ...
Farm Equipment breaking down ... getting stuck with the tractor ...
Mom came & got me and I was being quiet ...just sitting there
She asked ... "what's wrong" ... said I was just having a bad day
& I didn't have any get up & go
She then told me ....
"Well.... you are gonna be 40"

Jeeze kripes ! .... thanks mom

Yup. I feel it. Most of my crew is 1995- 2001 model years. They’ve got the horsepower these days.
