double digit daze

....( less than a 100 )....
i know there are still gonna be restrictions from the covid
sure will miss seeing my long distance friends that cant come
hopefully we can set up some video chats several times

i would go if i could.

I am sailing again in two weeks. for a 60 day patrol- where we are living on top of each other for the whole time- but no one has been so sick they couldnt work. and not everyone was getting sick. But I can't leave the state to go to a function like this. weird right!?

gonna miss it but with any luck, maybe the next one. it is a long way to travel but worth it.. but one has to be able to afford that trip also and with Ice storms this year, my money is going into the house and we are staying local for little trips.. you all have a GREAT time Pat and we will see you all on a live stream "walk-a-bout" maybe..

less than 3 months now ...

years ago (about 20)
i had a conversation with my son
who at the time , was about 6 years old
i told him , that when i was a kid
that it took an eternity from one
Christmas to the next Christmas
but nowadays ... it seem like the Holiday comes quite often

he pondered a bit & explained it to me
he said that a year when your 5 , is 20% of your life
but at 40 .. its 2.5% ... so it seems to go by quicker

im not sure if he is right ....
im pretty sure the earth is spinning faster

well... i do start saving for it...
i try to average $1 a day in my SLICKSTOCK Can....
in 2 years , thats a little over $700....
not enough by any means....
but it sure makes a big dent in the cost

the rains have kept our area from doing much

need to spray , work ground , plant beans , cut wheat
then sray & ork the wheat ground......

then get that old Ford truck ready
