transmission floor covers

Post by fire704 »

I have a NOS rubber floor mat. It is marked C5TZ. However it has the side footwells cut out. This make me think it is for the larger trucks with the tall transmission cover. My 64 F-250 has a warner T-98 transmission. Does low cover mean the cover was part of the cab floor stamping {no floor cutout}. Obviously my floor has a separate cover. Does "high" cover mean for all floor shift transmissions? Was the height of all high covers the same and the difference being hole cutouts? Thanks. Denny B.

Believe you are correct. One is for floor height and other is with removable pan. At least that's what I found when buying mine a few years ago for a 65. I've only built one slick so not much experience. Others may be more help.
