1965 F-250 Rear Springs

Post by chris401 »

Mine have 11 leaves on the primary and 4 on the overloads. Looking for a very good used pair or NOS. I am also getting estimates on having them made. Will consider a light spring pack with air bags. What do you have?
Thanks,
Chris

Hey Chris, if you are still looking, I'd suggest contacting Palmer Spring in RI. I heard many have had success with them in the past. Good luck! http://www.palmer-spring.com/

Thanks, I had a set made at Alcan in Colorado. Thanks for the link, it is good to have other options.

Last week I received the springs. They tried something else other than stock like I asked for. Just a hint here, I took video, pictures and typed out the measurements. All this confirmed my case and they paid for return shipping and are (supposed to be) rebuilding my springs to stock height like I originally requested. They seem capable and professional enough not to make the mistake a second time. We'll see, maybe a fellow Slick owner will benefit from my troubles.
