Figured someone should ask, lol. What are the rules?
Size?
Weight?
Type of wheels?
Etc?
Whoops I thought I was still in "Off Subject" when I posted.

valve cover racer
Greg, I did a little search on google and found several options, but this one looked more like the track Truckfarmer is trying to get, and is real close to what I have seen at other events. Check it out!

Guys, I kinda thought it was like that. Wouldn't have really figgerd it any other way. Butt.........................for those who ain't ever built one, that link will at least give them a clue about what this whole thing is about. I can't believe all this time I have seen those things here and there and never built one for myself. I started to once or twice with an aluminum valve cover I got at a swap meet off a detroit deisel. I think it would polish out pretty nice and look like chrome, but after all, this a FORD OUTFIT, and I'm gonna build one with a FORD valvecover.
BTW, Y-Block covers work pretty well since they have the two center bolt holes. Makes it easy to take the cover off for those occasional pit stop adjustments. TR
