Where are all of the Crew-Cabs?

Post by Dane »

I stop by every once in a while to see what's new and noticed there is only one Crew Cab Slick in the album and it's in Kuwait.

Don't some of you guys have pictures of Crew Cab that can be posted?

here is Garbz album from the dark side.. he keeps these pics hid from the real slicksters for some unknown reason.

This one's for sale in Washington, for a pretty reasonable price, IMO; http://fordtruk.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3961

Here's some other pics I've saved through the years...the red one being the coolest. 8)

A couple of weeks ago I saw the sharpest crew cab '66 i have ever seen. It was going down hwy. 29 in Anderson, SC. I believe it was only passing through, as I haven't seen it since. It was white dualie with one of those custom trailer towing beds that you see on late model trucks. It had 500 in the fender emblem, but did not appear to be a big truck. I wish I had my camera with me that day.

that red one is beautiful. The rock crawler is pretty cool, and the white one is just kinda gross IMHO. The bed looks bad how it's shortened in the front.
'63 with 390 & lots of juice. But never enough. Always want more.

That sounds like it would be a really sweet setup! :thumright:

70 Grabber, thanks for those pics! A Merc Crew, that's too cool. 8) Do you remember if that was a 250 or 350? I'm mainly wondering because of the large wheel wells on the front fenders. I'm thinking it may have started life as a 350, like the yellow one I posted.

Agatha I agree, that shortened bed looks terrible. Back in the day though, these trucks were looked at primarily as a utilitarian vehicle & nothing more. Definitely not regarded as anything cool, like they are today. :)

It certainly did look clean from the pics. I hope the new owner does something cool with it. :)

i could do with either of the red 4x4s. white bed is goofy, yellow/black is too short.
merc and stang both very nice.
