THAT is a cool econoline.... I don't think I would wanna sit that far forward in a thing like that, with a hot engine. Imagine if you hit somethin. Your legs become the crumple zone... cool nonetheless though. I had a buddy in Highschool with a flat black econo, dropped a 302 in it, was freakin badass. Can't imagine a 460 in one of those...

Very cool. Hard to find one of those in that kind of shape. They were always severely underpowered, i would think the 460 would take care of that nicely.
He doesn't say anything about power steering, so I imagine it steers like the Queen Mary, scary thought with that kind of power.
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

Beautiful. Wish I had seen it last week, would have been perfect for my wife's Girl Scout troop.

imagine if someone hit you head on @ 70mph.
my right leg was the crumple zone, the 302 landed right on it. i still like the old vans though, not afraid to ride or drive in them.

I thought the station bus models had side doors on both sides. They also made no-side-door versions too (no doors on either side). I guy that was a year ahead of me in high school had a no-side-door eco-line, and NO side or rear-door windows! That was the ultimate van-in type van! Wish I could find one of those. I saw a Dodge A-100 van with no side doors or windows in a 'yard down here once, so they made 'em that way too. It was loaded with Olds 442 parts!
