Squeak -- Help!

Post by 6Slick5 »

Today being nice out and cold weather soon to be here, I thought I would fix the squeak that I have whenever I depress the clutch pedal.

Started by spraying lithium grease at all the moving point, it still squeaked.

Removed the rod that goes down through the floor, lubed and put back. It still squeaked.

Decided that I would need to take the clutch pedal out, no big deal just pop that spring on the pedal off and out it came.

Cleaned it all up and started putting it back together........

I can not get the spring back on the clutch pedal :x :x :x

I think well no big deal just pull the whole pedal assembly out, yea right. They must of put that in place and then put the dash in.

So any ideas?? How do I get the spring back on the clutch pedal or how do I get the pedal assembly out with out cutting the dash?

Help!
