If it starts to rain, they'll tax the splash.
If you want to fish, they'll tax the bass.
If you plant a yard, they'll tax the grass.
If you don't play nice, they'll fine your *$#!

That was weird, I don't know how this reply got into this thread, it was supposed to go here; http://fordtruk.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=35585#35585Slick Fan wrote:I bet the owner's wife won some sorta bet then, so she got to pick the store's name.Johnny Canuck wrote:The ultimate man store, Slick. One more delay. Life is not going my way right now, waiting for the pendulum to swing the other way. Basement on the lower level of the new house (under the garage) flooded on Wednesday, wrecking (30) freshly painted doors in the house. Luckily not much else except some insulation/drywall and a bit of lino. Pushes my move in date past Xmas.
Sucks to be me, but I have known that for almost 50 years , now.

Dang JC, that does suck. At least it wasn't worse. This is the first time I have looked at this thread since I posted on page 1. VERY NICE house! Rose likes it too (confirmed HGTV junkie) and that says something, she has very good taste in these things.

JC, THAT SUCKS!
What happened? At least you don't got all your stuff in there yet... Sounds like you need a better sump-pump system.
And I saw something on This Old House a while back, it was an emergency backup sump pump, for when the power goes out, andd you're not home to staart a generator, and your house starts to flood. It works off of city water pressure, for every 1 gallon of water it wastes from the line, it siphons 3 gals out of the house. Not terribly efficient, but when your house is tryin to flood, it would be a good thing to have...
