I'm sure some of you have come across this article. I have the hard copy and recently came across it online.

I just thought you 302 fans might find it interesting :twisted:

I'm a SBF fan - cut my teeth on them - so naturally this got my gears to turning and I never put this issue in the "old magazines" box. . .

That is why I will use GT-40 heads. Go to the junkyard find a 97 1/2 to 2001 5.0 Explorer, pull the GT-40 heads, take them apart and work the exhaust side abit, and take them in for a freshening. ALOT less than $1400! :shock:

Admittedly, $1400 is a bit expensive BUT . . .

Any way you slice it, $14 a horse is a pretty big deal. Remember, this is the stock camshaft. And it sounds like the torque is nothing to sneeze at.
