New Member - Need Color Match Help

Post by leftside11 »

My slick is not painted the original holly green. at some point it was repainted.

Any ideas on getting color match? has a few spots that need to touched up and a few minor repair areas.

I posted a few photos in the album area.

thanks

I would take it to your local automotive paint store (Dupont etc) and get them to scan it (like they do at Home Depot). They can mix you up a batch and if you need it, put it in a spray can. Beautiful truck BTW.

That's probably true. Maybe I misread his post. I though he was saying it had been repainted a color other than the original. I just assumed that the color was not an original slick color.

hello all,

i'm not looking to change the color. just looking to get color match for some minor touch-up work. i know this is not the original color for my truck as per the numbers, it may or may not be an original 65 ford color. i dont know.

greg d - dont like the grill in blue? white better?

thanks
