Junk big back window truck?

Post by insane1 »

Hey guys I'm from Ennis Tx (about 25 miles s. of Dallas), and looking for a junk big back window unibody. All I want is the roof, glass, and trim.I dont care if the truck falls in 2 on the trailer, or I will come cut the roof off at your place. If anyone has any leads I would appreciate it.

Thanks, Insane1

If I'd known a week ago, but it went in the crusher this week, along with a few others. I coulda cried, he also crushed the one I needed the front clip from.

Man that sucks... Classics in the crusher.

Insane1... We think alike. Wish mine had the big window too.

How hard are our trucks to do a 2" chop? I've seen one with 3" and it's a little out of proportion for my taste.

I'm asking because I was thinking that you did custom body work at your shop.

I dont like chops if you can tell they were chopped, it has to flow w/the lines of the truck. I was thinking along the lines of 2" as well. I like people going "is it?" It has to look like it grew there.

As soon as I find a roof, and I'll let you know!!!

I agree... On a truck (anything newer than '34) it only looks "right" if you have to park it next to another truck to tell if it's chopped. But when these trucks are lowered, the top really looks too tall.

I saw one in Temple about 8 weeks ago for sale. A place called Autotrends. Pretty rusty but only wanted like $300 for the whole truck
