why not just tig it like i did it looks a hell of a lot better and wont leak like your jb weld and aluma what ever

if i had a tig i would,, but i dont and dont know anybody with one so thats out the picture for now ,,,but the jb weld works wonders and it aint leaking so itll do

oh yeah... add it to my xmas list, maybe you can get me one of them TIGs, along with a miller plasma cutter and heavy duty MIG welder... I would have all sorts of use for it...

I already am building all kinds of stuff... it's just a pain in the ass.

Sawzall, Grinder, Cutting torch, and a little Mig from Harbor Freight that overheats if you use it longer than 10 minutes.... When I need to weld, It's a whole day process, and I dont wanna have to let the thing cool down half an hour between 10 minute spurts.... Worst comes to worst, I use the old stick welder, which really aint that bad.

I helped my little cousin put a 4 link in his truck over spring break, had to use a crappy stick welder hanging on a WW2 Wakasha Generator, that has some serious issues, cant hardly maintain power longer than about 15 minutes...

Cool...I like the theme of your truck.

Keep an eye out for leaks. Gasoline will eventually break down the JB Weld. I patched a jeep tank with it years ago... Worked for a few months.
