Depending on motor and bed, you're looking at about 3850 - 4000 pounds.
Nadine weighed 3840 on the scale with a 390 and styleside bed. But she's a straight axle truck and the 65-66 have a big crossmember under them so add a couple of hundred pounds and you get the 4000 mark I mentioned.
Good luck and welcome to the club if you haven't already been greeted.

I'm not arguing with you. I'm just explaining why I'm right.

Sometimes, it waries alot! sometimes they look up the engine cast nr. sometimes a dyno paper is needed.
There is also a rule of 15kw/100kg for rebuild cars (chanced brake system, changed engine and transmission and so on.)
The strange thing is that i whent to the auto inspection last year and tried to registrate it they said i cant have over 147kw (199,97hp).... but the f100 -65 came with the 352 that year and that makes what, like 260hp?

I agree with "Lefty" but pull 2 spark plug wires so when they go to inspect/dyno it you will have half the horse power it's suppose to have. or even better paint 2 of the dizzy's contactors with clear paint. There's lots of way to de tune a engine for inspections, then return it to normal after wards. LMAOlefty wrote:Be an outlaw!!! Take it up there with around 500 hp, and tell them you did'nt know any better!!![]()
