Hosting spring/summer get together !!!

Post by cookster4495 »

All invited,, actually I could REALLY use a hand puttting my truck together.

Fresh motor, trans, trans cooler,headers-everything. I'm also doing the disc brake switch, but hoping to have that done before hand/with a little detailing to compartment.

Front clip is off so would like to install motor trans in one shot. For those unaware,,my truck had a ###bby plant so unsure of wiring issues.

Any and all help would be GREATLY appreciated.

Food, snacks beverages included if working or just here for morale support. Sat 6/7/08 thanks guys,,,Larry 8)

Yep, totally the wrong weekend to pick. Go a week in either direction and you've got a much better date. :)

No... Memorial day is early this year May 26. The 31st would work for me.

Well, I'm not much help in the wrenching department. But, I'm always good for moral support and photographic chores. Just say when and where.

Hmm, I may be interested. Nail down a date and I'll see if it works.

some of us are down here. Just trying to figure out if we can afford the gas to get there. At $900 per gallon or what ever it will be by then. i will be at carlisle and i will try to make it up to bath. i think i have to ask permission to be able to play two weekends in a row. As long as dont have to work i think a can make the trip. With the lack of work i have been getting lately it should be no problem. 8)

Well it looks like I will be in Reading this weekend. My brother and his wife have a brand new baby boy. My folks asked me if I would drive them down to see him. I'll be watching the post here and may take a ride Saturday.

I may also make Carlisle. My cousin is itching to restore a Torina he has. He has wanted to go to a car show with me so I told him this would be a good opportunity for both of us.

Good, because my schedule for the weekend has changed and I won't be available to stand around and make fun of others working. :)

Well the nightmare continues. First they ''lose my crank'',now I'm told we have a problem. The pistons stick out 200th of an inch. Aghhh. Long story short, either wrong pistons ordered or wrong ones sent.

Still no motor. (how the funk do you ''lose a crank'' ???)

Forgive me J.C. for saying it,but at least I could drive the frickin thing with the x motor in it. To those who were willing to drive out and help, thank you!!! just not gonna happen this weekend.

K.C. is looking further and further from me being there. :( Larry
