Hi, just started reading the forum and thought I'd say hello. Tons of good info on here and it's nice to chat with folks that are into slicks as much as I am. Anyone in the Austin or Round Rock area? Any good cruise nights around. I just bought a 63 unibody shortbed thats slowly but surely taking shape. I'd love to meet a few members from the area. Anyways, keep posting 'em and I'll keep readin 'em.

Welcome to the family. My folks had a place up near Uncle Gus's marina for years.
Try to hook up with Monty Newton in Austin. I'll try to get his e-mail address for you.

hey , uncle skip
my little sister works at the school in pearland as a librarian
this is her first year there
I grew up in houston/alief - and thanks to my dad's influence
I am now and have been for 19 years working at an Aircraft modification
Facility in waco .
Currently , I no longer work on the Aircraft - but am there
as a firefighter/emt .
I still like to work on my old cars and trucks.
recently finished installing a new long block in an 82 f-100
and am in the middle of working on my 63 unicabs -king pins/steering
and all new brakes (which is what lead to changing the king pins)
