My Son's truck has those wheels, I kinda like 'em. :D Probably spent too much time as a kid watching the Dukes, I guess. :P

After looking everything over, thought to myself, you can change the wheels, paint it,and put in proper power plant. I bought it based on good Ga. truck w/VERY little rust issues and running driver. It got me to SS-2
and home! Though she sits silent, she will roar once more. Larry

I saw Larry's truck at Slickstock 2 and he would have had a hard time finding a better place to start. Super nice short-wide body. Plus he had a truck he could use right now and enjoy until he built the engine of his choice. Thanks, Lyman.

I have to jump in on this one I picked up my Uni with a 455 Olds engine in it, now I call it my rescued Truck ...the Olds motor went on ebay and paid for the Truck (almost) now I have my baby with a 351 Cleveland where she belongs in my Uni. If I hadn't made the swap it would just be another Ford with a GM motor. It is up to us to save these Trucks from those who bastardize them. I think we should buy every Ford with a brand X motor and Rescue them. This could be the Slicks rescue Society now someone should win the Lottery so we can go forward................... OK LETS DO IT ONE AT A TIME. whip.gif

Kind of like finding out your dream woman has herpes. You don't open the hood all that often but it makes you sick eveytime you do. :D

Yeah driving that truck would be a lot like driving a Moped,
it would be a lot of fun till somebody caught ya on it.

Comes with all those fine Chebby features of the era, I see. Did he mention sagging coil springs?
