The professional man who sold me the truck bought it in Carlisle yes , it just arrive in france few days ago ...

I would contact Tom first , but it's a good idea to order the catalogs from Dennis Carpenter and LMC too. The LMC one is free in North America, not sure about France, the Dennis Carpenter one costs like $10 or so.

I have two daughters too ( 14 and 16 ) , they ask me why I want to have a car with only 3 seats ..... I never cant find an answer

nice looking truck, but that license plate is kinda funny looking. my plates are a lot shorter then yours, but they proudly say Oregon on them. so greetings from Oregon.
incase someday me and my slick decide to move over there, whats it cost to ship a slick across the pond? i wonder if it would be cheaper to drive then to ship it that far.(if you could drive across water) i'm guessing its probally cheaper to ship something like that then to drive.

In france YOU MUST have this kind of plate

( it will change soon ) , but on american cars we can put the same size as yours in white , yellow or black sometimes but nothing else than numbers

My 65 mustang in Le mans classic ( near a GT 40 in english plates )

I have the same problem -- girls 11 and 13 and wife. Need a larger antique to cruise with the whole family.....

Are you able to research the paint codes that was used to paint that truck? I ask becuase clearly, you must want to paint your steering column and new steering wheel when you get one. Your truck looks really great aside from a couple little details like the dash pad and steering. If you know the paint code, there are places that will mix you up a rattle can of spray paint that will match the rest of your truck very well.

There are not any known aftermarket steering wheels that fit the column easily, in case you were wondering.

Well, welcome to the board as well, from Kansas City, Missouri. Its not too early to make your Summer vacation plans for 2010!!! With a nice "S'il vous plait" one of the KC crowd would be happy to pick you up the airport and you could ride in a Slick to Des Moines.

we have shipped several 61/66 truck parts to France,, Last part sent to France was a 51/52 Mercury Tailgate,, last year guy bought a 65/66 over at Daytona bought parts from us , then ordered mores shipped via US Mail,, we have one guy hauled many vehicles to the Baltimore Port going to Sweden,, We have seen many buyers at Carlisle, Turkey Rod Run from over the BIG POND Buying just not truck parts but all kinds of American Parts for American Cars
