bitchin!

hey I know this is not a totally related thread, but are you guys familiar with the Ball joint problems with the Dakotas?

I was oblivious until my Flight instructor said there was some sort of defect with the Dakota ball joints when I told her that some of the guys on the forum are using that front end....

I dont want to upset Garbs and Steve and IC by any means. Just thought I might mention it, as a heads up for anybody not familiar. (looking out for fellow Slicksters?)

97 up changed the design on the ball joints. The 86 to 96 uses the same ball joint as most all Mopar products from 1957 to 96.

Good to know, that means I won't have to buy a new socket for the uppers, if-n-when I need to change a set.

Looks great Garbz. Slap on some night time illumination devices & you're all set for your first cruise-in or rod run. 8)
