Thanks I've been working on it hard the last few days to get it back on the road. I fixed all the leaks and after I get it back from the tranny shop its goin back to be my daily driver. I kinda like the white too but it isn't gonna be on there much longer I'm hoping to get it painted during the summer or maybe next spring. Its gonna be PPG Chrome Yellow, I know I know I've had some people disagree but trust me its gonna turn out nice.
i was wondering why the bay was done in yellow.....
should look good...

Nice detail work in that engine bay.
I bet that little truck boogies!
Are you going to paint all the interior panels with the chrome yellow too?
I really like the meats on the rear and the race truck attitude!

Thanks, its pretty quick little truck enough power to be entertaining. Yeah, I'm gonna paint all the interior in chrome yellow.
I actually like the subtlety of the white. But I'm guessing if you've chosen Chrome Yellow then you're not really going for subtle.
I don't particularly care for the engine bay treatment because I feel the yellow draws attention to components that should really fade into the background (alternator, fan, brackets, etc). Still a nice truck though. Looks like fun.

Your right I want it to scream look at me!! I think the yellow is a very tradional hot rod color. I know what you mean about painting the accesories, but don't worry thought this is only temporary. Its gonna get all painted yellow under the hood and I'm planning on putting a built 514 in it later on.
I got it back from the tranny shop so far no more leaks and it shifts great! It barks the tires pretty good and get a lil loose going it second. Its a blast. I also dumped the exhaust in front of the rear end so it sounds a lot different now.

Thanks for the Pictures man!! They look awesome I wish I was that good with photoshop! If you have some extra time would you mind doing it in orange for me? So I could get an ideal for what it might look like.
Thanks again
