I picked the truck up in a trade when I lived in CA about 12 years ago.It was quite a wreck but it was complete , original and rust free.Took me about a year and a half to smooth it out.The color is '56 Chevy Turquise and Ford Wimbleton White. When it was finshed I gave it to my Dad for Fathers Day where he had it for 8 years,it did'nt get driven at all.Meanwhile I moved back East bought and restored a house and built which I hope will be my best and final workshop.Anyway he asked if I wanted it back because he's getting pretty deep into restoring the Vette he bought brand new in '75.No brainer this truck always relaxed me and now I have it back.stronger66ratfink wrote:welcome to the club NJ from the us folks down south.

Welcome from Phoenix.
Great story on the truck. You definetely have some nice vehicles. My oldest son and I converted a 2001 Mustang GT into a Roush Mustang and my brother has a 07 stage 3 BlackJack Roush. Great cars.

Nice looking CC '64 shortie there, Dude!
It appears pretty road-worthy to me as it stands now - what do you think you'll need/want to do to it yet?
Hmmm, I see what appears to be a spotlight, but does it have outside mirrors?
BarnieTrk
It does have a factory spotlight but no rear veiws, yet.It needs a master cylinder, brake lines, water pump some new wiring, and a little tranny work, wont lock into Park just drops into Reverse also the tranny leaks. The engine has been rebuilt.Really hard to find someone who knows Cruise-o-matics around these parts(South Jersey) if anyone has any ideas or experience with these trannys I'd love to hear from you. Thanks for kind welcome

If you plan to drive it alot and it needs brake work anyway you may want to consider a dual master cylinder & front disc conversion.
