my new 1964 f100 project truck

Hey everyone! I'm from richmond va. and i just got ahold of this truck here. it is 1964 ford f100 long bed. it has an ltd II V8 351 in it. i poured some gas in the carburetor today and it started but did not run long. everyone with tip or ideas please respond. here it is, let me know what u think!

:welcome: from Michigan. How long since it ran? Is the gas good? How's the spark? If it ran for a little bit it should not be a huge issue to make it run good. Looks like a good project.

It hasnt been started in about 10 years. tomorow i'm flushin all the fluids, and some gas cleaner, with dry gas, some fresh gas and a new fuel filter. she cranked over pretty good. i got pretty excited. it also has power brakes, but no disc. i mainly need wheels and seats.

haha, she is a bit of a sleeper. so today i went and put some gas cleaner pumped the old gas out of the carb, topped it off with oil,poured some gas in the carb, and just light that she was up and ideling. my eyes lit up. runs quiet too. just need: wheels, seats, and brake and ready to drive! haha. bump

Haha...Well, we all have to justify it with a short list to start with.

Funny thing is how that list will get longer...just give it time.

Good to see another slick getting saved though!
