Has anyone bought a rebuilt engine from these folks?

The place to talk Slicks. All we ask is that discussion has something to do with slicks...

Has anyone bought a rebuilt engine from these folks?

Post by MyDads64 »

There is a rebuilt 292 on eBay, item # 7904684173, with a "buy it now" price of $1,414. The url is (I hope it shows):
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7904684173&fromMakeTrack=true

Has anyone bought a rebuilt engine from them? If so, how do they hold up?
Have there been any problems? If so, what problems?

Does any one recommend another source for better pricing and/or quality?

thanks

i bought a complete engine from these folks a few years ago a 390 4v, and cost was $1600.i needed it serviced (head gasket) and they took care of me.
last year i got a business call from them wanting to know if i was interested in buying /selling them , and found that they also do the y block.

there are several rebuilders in the Sea-Tac area, maybe Comet can give some info on others.
