Is there any other color??? This will be the third truck I have painted this color. Let's just say that I like to be noticed. I was pulled over in the '67 that was painted this color around 5 am (65 in a 45) and the officers first words were, and I quote, " this things kinda hard to hide isn't it?" and I thought to myself, why would I paint it this color if I was trying to hide it? It is my favorite color and all I fix eventually end up this color... Anthony
I have a vague memory of a truck that gave me the slick bug.
In 86 I went to Bowling Green state u (hence the fuzzy memory) and I came across an orange 65ish slick. It belonged to a BG football player and had some small BGSU falcons painted on the cowl sides in front of the door.
The day I saw my slick I decided to paint it orange. Since then white has grown on me plus it hides a lot so i have been leaning that way until recently.
Now I am back to orange but now with white interior. Can't wait to see yours painted so I can think a little more about it
always
"i believe i've achieved satisfaction".-bubbles
"should i be gettin" baked for this boys?"-bubbles
i could no longer keep "r.i.p.ing" all of our fallen brothers and sisters, so i say here, slick loads of love and much respect to all you beautiful people.
Cool they should see you coming that's for sure I like the color actually can't wait to see pictures of the whole cab in color.
I wish I had some color on mine now... I am still slowy killing the green paint on my crew. Good to see what color looks like on a truck I have started to doubt mine will ever get color (other than green and grey)..
64 F100 short bed-style side-460-c6-with side toolbox and Dakota Front Suspension
And a 65 CrewCab
can`t believe my eyes. this looks exactly like my `63 stepside. i picked the color out of color book in auto paint store. was supposed to be some kind of bronze, but i wasn`t even close. however, the truck is appreciated wherever i go.
i agree anthony , is there any other color ? the last 2 projects i have done have been orange , and they both were definatly eye catchers. my uni will probably end up orange , if i ever get my shop done .
