Just saw a 390 motor for $300 bucks on craigslist. Search "f100" in the for sale area on Chicago site. It says it's locked up, but has an Edelbrock performer manifold on it. Who knows, it may have some other usable performance or dress-up parts too. It was in Merriville In., so it's not too far away.
Heres more pics of progress, just waiting on my buddys cherry picker so i can mount this motor on the engine stand. 2 bolts left and thats the motor mounts.

i could no longer keep "r.i.p.ing" all of our fallen brothers and sisters, so i say here, slick loads of love and much respect to all you beautiful people.
Well pictures will be up soon, but I ripped out the driveline today, sat back down and thought about what's going to be put on this motor. Since I decided to keep it, and put a newer manual trans behind it. But this 352 is really not a performance motor huh? I really can't find upgraded parts for this yet. Maybe I'm just looking in all the wrong places. Can someone point me to the right direction?
Thanks
Nick
If you are willing to do machine work, you can punch the 352 out to a 390 and then use all the bolt on goodies for that motor. The 352 was a blue-collar motor without much in the way of performance additives. If you aren't into the whole "boring" thing, Edlebrock does make a Performer RPM aluminum intake for it, it should be worth a lil horsepower and response, not to mention weight savings. That stock cast iron intake is a boat anchor. A set of headers and a Pertronics ignition would atleast give her a lil oomph, but you'ld probably be better served finding a good used 390 and go from there.
Ok I looked into getting it bored and a shop told me he couldn't bore it to a 390. Idk. So I'm going to just restore this motor with some fresh goodies and paint and call it a day. Ill leave the next project for a hot rod.
