My ex mamma ran off about three years ago, so I can keep it without having to ask (she would have said no anyways)! She did let me keep my Galaxie, but I think it was just because it did not have A/C! I'm better off without her as she preferred foreign over domestic! She drove a Honda when I met her, I put her in a Mustang GT, but she hated it and bought a BMW with the Mustang proceds and some, got better than me and departed.

Ronnie, that is my recent ebay find. Thanks, for the compliment on my rig, it's stock except for an Edge Eveolution I put in it last month. I can custom program my computer or use one of three canned programs, performance, tranny only and towing.

What are your plans for this truck.

My original intention was to use it as a parts truck for my 66. Now I don't know. The truck has the typical slick issues, weak cab support, cab supports under seat at the door riser, cab corners, lower door pillers. Other than those, everything is there, the motor cranks right up, doesent leak, valve train is quiet, transmission and clutch are good, seems to be a complete rolling truck, needs work, but a god starting spot. I bled the brakes yesterday, right rear probably has a leaking wheel cylinder and drove it down my short little dead end country road, went through all three gears, drove good.

I don't think that I want to part it out now, it's too whole. I'm leaning towards just selling it to someone who needs a truck as a starting point. I just have two many perpetual projects going on.

Hey F-zilla,

I'd be interested In those wheels and hubcaps if you plan on going a different route with wheel choices

Yup I have that song, and that song was about 95% accurate for my situation at the time! I had the Galaxie for about a year and a half before we got divorced, she only rode in it once, but did not like it because it does not have air! It's a really solid car too! Garage kept and the whole 9 yards.
