Crazy winter weekend weather (56 make a sandwich)

Post by adrianspeeder »

Hit 70 on Saturday, and I think this time last year we had a foot of snow. Oh well, makes for good truck pics.

Got the Lariat out.

We finally got snow here, nice winter condition today. It has been a crazy autumn, a lot of rain, and temp. above freezing point almost every day...... :woohoo: First snow came in november, but melted away in a couple of days..... Now the days are getting lighter, the sun is soon over the horizon, and in a month we can see the sun climbing over the mountains here in the town center. So I am not complaining!

Been getting our normal cycle of snow/chinook/snow/chinook here.
Due for some more cold later this week, now that the snow is all gone again.Makes winter bearable that way, but we are still getting a relatively normal winter, not like you Eastern bums.

Strange choice of venues for pics, Adrian. You don't often see someone snapping pics of their truck on Boot Hill..
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

They're calling for single digits in a couple days. I know it's not as cold as Ice's place, but for this x-Arizona boy, it's just plain... Image

If it starts to rain, they'll tax the splash.
If you want to fish, they'll tax the bass.
If you plant a yard, they'll tax the grass.
If you don't play nice, they'll fine your *$#!

We had a couple good rain storms here last week, filled up most of the tanks and gave the pastures some LONG needed rain. Been warm enough, 60s/70s during the day. Looks kinda nice, all greened up. Might need to mow the yard.

Hit a hot +87F here last weekend. Those are Summer Temps! They are running 15 to 20 degrees above normal my Oranges don't ripen right and that also sets us up for a Bad Fire Season again like 98, I dread that!

1st a year of bad drought @ -20" of rain for a year. Now hot temps with tornadoes & Summer type Lightening but no real rain thrown in . . . .

 Tomorrow Am they're saying in the 30s wait that's Northern type temps. . . . :?

I'm very confused, so are my orange trees . . . :hm: :help: :dontknow: :hm:

FBp
